These "Go-to-Whoa" lights were built for a club in Australia. The race starts like a traditional drag race. The difference is that the drivers must slow down and stop exactly on the finish line without crossing the "too far" beam located just 1-foot behind the finish line. This truly is a test of driver skill. This system was a blast to test out. It really is tougher than it sounds
This automated unit was built for timing Mud Drags. It has two beams at the start - one for staging, the other to start the timer. It doesn't require a Starter. When the vehicle pulls up to the staging beam, the green light turns, telling the driver he is staged. When the driver is ready, he simply takes off and breaks the timer beam. The timer counts until he crosses the finish beam.
